Fayetteville, North Carolina
March against war was largest protest in Fayetteville's
history. Based on cards submitted by participants, organizers counterd over
4800. Fayetteville has symbolic importance as the home of the 82nd Airborne
Division at Fort Bragg. North Carolina Peace and Justice Coalition was the main
organizer, with many national and local co-sponsors.
