Easter in Crawford, Texas at Camp Casey - April 14-16, 2006

Here are just a few of several hundred pictures I took over the 4 days Avery and I slept in a tent on the ground in Crawford ,Texas over Easter. It was quite an experience. Avery read a poem she wrote on the same stage that Daniel Ellsberg,Rev. Lowery, Diane Wilson, Cindy and Carley Sheehan spoke...but really, most strikingly, on the same stage that Military Veterans , and Iraq Military Veterans spoke calling on Americans to reclaim the America that is honorable....that does not continue wars on innocent people, and disgrace our legacy of human rights with the horror of torture and the general disregard of our Constitution by this administration. - Meredyth Friend
