Mission: Alaskans for Peace and Justice seeks to increase awareness of and gain public support for global justice and nonviolent conflict resolution through education, dialogue and political action.
Fairbanks Coalition for Peace and Justice
Mission: FCPJ is dedicated to working for just and nonviolent resolution of conflicts on the local, national and global levels. We welcome all peace-loving folk to join us in our weekly chats and demonstrations. We have demonstrated for peace on the same street corner for two hours every Saturday without interruption since September 2002. Our vigil has continued through our short and precious summer and through temperatures as low as -45 degrees. We hope to inform and create dialog with our community, and we will continue to demonstrate until we see progress toward a more just and peaceful world community.
We also hold informal peace chats at 6 p.m. every Wednesday at the
Mat-Su Valley Fellowship of Reconciliation
Rallies: All welcome to our non-violent Peace Walk in Palmer starting at the railroad depot downtown at 12 noon every Saturday as long as Iraq war is on. Bring a peace poster or carry one of ours.
Meetings: Our meetings are every Sunday at 1:30pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, mi. 2.2 Palmer-Wasilla Hwy., Palmer, Alaska

We are a small group looking to join in the fight
against the war. We are unofficially working with Alaskans for peace
& Justice. We spread flyers to educate the youth of our community
about what's happing and what they can do. we hail from our
local musical scene. We want to help make a difference so set us
up in getting this on track I hope to go nation wide with Y.R.U.N.
someday. but we just wanna stop the suffering not only in Iraq but
everywhere at all levels of our social structure and hopefully change
it. Please help us to help the resistance!
